790 WPRV-AM and Brown University Athletics Announce Broadcast Agreement

Providence, Rhode Island - Brown University Athletics, Citadel Broadcasting, and Nelligan Sports Marketing announced today that 790 WPRV-AM will be the broadcast partner of the Brown Bears football, men's basketball, and men's ice hockey teams beginning this weekend and extending through the 2012-2013 season.
790 WPRV-AM will provide live broadcasts of all ten football games, all men's basketball home and away regular and postseason games, and a minimum of five men's ice hockey games each season. Each game broadcast will feature pre- and post-game shows and will be streamed live via the internet.
Additionally, and beginning next Thursday evening (9/25) from 7-8pm, 790 WPRV-AM will broadcast the weekly Phil Estes Football Coaches Show. In the winter, the Jesse Agel Men's Basketball Coaches Show will take to the airwaves. These shows will also be streamed live via the internet.
Scott Cordischi, the long-time radio voice of the Bears, will resume his role as play-by-play announcer during game broadcasts and will host the coaches shows.

790 WPRV-AM is the home of `Imus in the Morning' and True Oldies throughout the day.
