Brown Sports Radio Network To Broadcast Brown Football

The Brown University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with JMR Communications, has announced the formation of the Brown Sports Radio Network, and has reached an agreement with three area radio stations to broadcast Brown football in the Fall.

The Brown Sports Radio Network can be heard throughout Rhode Island and Southern New England. WSKO-AM 790 The Score (Providence) will continue to broadcast Brown Football, along with new partners WOON-AM 1240 (Woonsocket), and WARL-AM1320 (Attleboro/Providence).

The Brown football broadcast team remains intact, with Scott Cordischi, the popular host of the SportsBeat show on WSKO-790 The Score, calling the play-by-play, and former URI quarterback Steve Holland providing the color commentary.

The weekly Phil Estes Coaches Show, hosted by Cordischi and Brown football coach Phil Estes, will continue to be broadcast on Thursday evenings during the season, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on WSKO and WARL.
