Brown's Bobby Sewall and Shane Kelley Named ECAC All-Stars

Providence, Rhode Island - Brown senior offensive tackle Shane Kelley (Naples, FL) and junior wide receiver Bobby Sewall (Portsmouth, RI) have been named ECAC Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-Stars after leading Brown to its second Ivy League Championship in the last four years.
The Bears finished their 2008 season with a 6-1 Ivy League record, 7-3 overall, winning its fourth Ivy League title, and third Ivy Championship in the last 10 years under head coach Phil Estes.
A first team All-Ivy and All-New England selection, Kelley has been a three-year starter for coach Estes' Brown football team, playing the key left tackle position. As a group, the Bears' offensive line allowed an Ivy League best seven sacks all year, sixth best in the nation, while passing 384 times. Kelley helped the Bears' offense to 379.5 total yards per game, third in the Ivy League, and the league's second best passing offense with 267.7 yards per game. Brown's 29.3 points per game led the Ivy League.
Sewall, who was also a first team All-Ivy and All-New England honoree, ranked ninth in the nation with 6.9 receptions per game, and 14th nationally with 94.80 receiving yards per game. Sewall, a triple receiving, running and passing threat, led the Ivy League in receptions (69), receiving yards (948) and scoring (8.4 points per game), registering eight receiving touchdowns and six touchdowns via the run. He also etched his name in the Ivy League record book with 144 career receptions, 25th best in Ivy football history. Against Cornell, Sewall made 11 receptions for 181 yards with touchdown grabs of 52 and 33 yards.
