Now in his second year with the Brown coaching staff is Scott Sperone, who works with the Bears' running backs. A 2001 graduate of Springfield College, Sperone was a three-year free safety. He coached at Kings College for a season (2001) before moving on to Springfield College where he coached the defensive backs in 2002 and 2003. He earned a Master's degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield in 2004. Sperone also coached the defensive backs at Stonehill in 2004, and was the wide receivers coach at Williams College in 2005.
