Grant Senne Named Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week

Providence, R.I. - Brown junior kicker Grant Senne (Winter Park, FL) was named the Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week after booting three field goals and averaging nearly 40 yards per punt last week against Princeton. 

 

Senne kicked field goals of 28, 33 and 19 yards against the Tigers, and averaged 39.6 yards per punt.

Just one week ago, Senne booted the game-winning 23-yard field goal in the second overtime period to lift the Bears to a 27-24 win over Holy Cross. He also kicked a career high 40-yard field goal against the Crusaders.

 

He has connected on 8-of-10 field goals this season and averaged 38.9 yards per punt. His 1.60 field goals per game rank 11th in the nation.

 

Senne and the Brown football team are back in action again on Saturday, October 25, hosting Cornell at Brown Stadium.  Kick-off is 12:30 pm.
