Buddy Farnham Named National Special Teams Player of the Week

Providence, RI - Brown senior All-American wide receiver Buddy
Farnham (Andover, Mass.) turned in a huge performance on a
rain-soaked field for Brown in its 28-20 victory at home over Rhode
Island in the annual Governor's Cup game and was named the National
Special Teams Player of the Week by The Sports
Network.
Farnham had 274 all-purpose yards, including four punt returns for
97 yards. That was the third best performance in Brown
history. One of the returns for 69 yards set up a Bear
touchdown.
Farnham also returned three kickoffs for 77 yards and grabbed five
catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns. His 32-yard TD catch from
quarterback Kyle Newhall answered an early first-quarter touchdown
from Rhode Island to get Brown back into the game.
