      <title>Record 12 Brown Players Named To National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society</title>

      <description>The National Football Foundation announced that 12 seniors on the Brown football team have been named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football seniors from all divisions of play, who maintain a 3.2 GPA or better, and are a starter or significant substitute.   A total of 620 players from 246 schools of all divisions qualified for membership in the society's fourth year, an 80-percent increase from the inaugural class in 2007.  Brown football had more players honored than any Division I school in the nation.</description>

Brown has scored an Ivy League leading 28.5 points per game, and leads the league with 290.0 passing yards, and 413.8 yards of total offense.  Penn features the league's top defense, allowing just 12.3 points per game, 149.7 passing yards, and 216.2 total yards per game.</description>

Brown's defense keyed the victory, keeping the Cornell's offense off the scoreboard and making big play after big play.  Trailing 14-7 late in the third quarter, Brown scored 14 points in a span of 15 seconds to turn the momentum in their favor.</description>
