Spring Academic All-Ivy Honorees Announced

Providence, RI - The Ivy League released its spring list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with ten Brown student-athletes being honored. The five females and five males were starters or key reserves on officially recognized varsity teams with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Amy Baxter, Sr., Softball
First Team All-Ivy at utility; two-year captain and 6th in Ivy League with .443 on base percentage; Concentration: Human Biology

Alexis Blaxberg, Sr., Water Polo
First Team All-North; Second Team All-East; 21st in the nation in goals (70); Concentration: Psychology

Corey Finnerty-Ludwig, Jr., Crew
2008 NCAA Champion; member of varsity eight boat that won EAWRC title; Ivy League champion and first team All-Ivy; Concentration: Biology

Whitney Keefe, Sr., Equestrian
Second in Individual Open Flat at IHSA Nationals; Won Open Flat and Open Fences at All-Ivy Competition; Concentration: Biology

Lauren Vitkus, Jr., Lacrosse
Second Team All-Ivy; 2008 Second Team All-Region; Team leading scorer (40 pts.); Concentration: Engineering

Jordan Burke, Jr., Lacrosse
