Bears Place Three of Four Boats in Grand Finals

The men's crew team placed three of four boats in the Grand Finals in the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 16. The second freshman led the way for the Bears with a first place finish, while the freshman took second behind Harvard.

The second freshman set the pace for Brown with a first place finish in the first finals race of the day rowing at a one length victory over the University of Pennsylvania.

The freshman finished in second in the grand finals after a first place finish in their heat. The Bears finished behind Harvard who led the race the entire way.

The JV boat finished fourth in the grand finals rowing in at 6:01.131. The varsity eight took a fifth place finish in the petite finals with a time of 5:58.451 to end the day for Brown.
