Men’s Crew Competes at Head of the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brown men's crew raced a pair of boats in the Men's Championship Eight event to close out the second and final day of competition at the 52nd Annual Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday on the Charles River.

On Sunday, Brown placed 10th out of 26 boats in the highly-competitive Men's Championship Eight event, which is made up of participating schools in addition to international crews. Washington took first place in a time of 14:40.82. The Brown B boat finished 17th overall in the event, crossing in a time of 15:46.53.

Brown had two boats entered in the Men's Club Eight event on Saturday. The A boat turned in a fourth-place finish out of 36 entries, crossing in a time of 15:41.49, trailing only Harvard, Northeastern and Boston University. The B boat was 17th overall at 16:37.32.

Next up, Brown will wrap up the fall campaign on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Foot of the Charles.
