Bears Set for EARC Sprints in Worcester

Worcester, Mass.  – Brown men's crew is primed for the Eastern Sprints and will look to advance to the grand final and knock off the favorite in undefeated Harvard. Earlier this season, the Bears were narrowly edged by the Crimson, falling by less than length.

"I have really enjoyed working with this group this season," said head coach Paul Cooke. "They have been working hard and improving throughout the spring. They have a big opportunity on Sunday and they are determined to make the most of it."

Brown's varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight, freshman eight and varsity four will all be in action this weekend.

Wisconsin, Princeton, BU, Syracuse, Cornell, Navy, Army and Dartmouth are also in the hunt for the title and have all been successful this season.

There will be live audio and video available for the day's events. Fans can get more info on this year's EARC's at Row2k.com.
