Brown (5-4), winners of three of its last four games, returns to the hardwood after a 13-day hiatus due to final exams, traveling to Hartford, Connecticut for a game against the 5-7 Hartford Hawks on Saturday, December 22nd, with a morning start at 11:00 a.m.
Brown and Hartford have met five times, dating back to the 1989-1900 season, with the Bears holding a 3-2 series advantage. Brown has captured the last three games between the two teams, including a hard fought 95-82 win in last year (12/22/06) behind Mark McAndrew's 30 points. Hartford's last win over the Bears came in the 2003-2004 season, when the Hawks earned a 70-63 win.
McAndrew leads the Ivy League in scoring with 17.0 points per game, while senior Damon Huffman is averaging 13.1 points per game for coach Craig Robinson's team. Huffman, with 967 career points, is looking to become to 20th player in Brown basketball history to score 1,000 or more points.
