Brown's Earl Hunt Named Ivy League Player of the Week

(Nov. 30, 2000) -- Brown University sophomore swing man Earl Hunt (Rockville, MD) opened the season by averaging 24.7 points per game in his first three games and was named the Ivy League's first Player of the Week for the 2000-2001 season.

An honorable mention All-Ivy selection last year, Hunt scored a season high 33 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in Brown's victory over High Point. Hunt also tossed in 23 points against Wagner, hitting 8 of 10 shots from the field, and 18 points against Boston College. Last year, Hunt scored a Pizzitola Sports Center record 39 points against Harvard.
