PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Alai Nuualiitia scored 22 points and Earl Hunt had 21 Friday night as Brown went on a 22-7 run early in the second half for an 85-70 win over Dartmouth.
Brown (16-10, 7-6 Ivy) trailed 43-41 with 18:35 left in the game, but Hunt scored seven in the 22-7 run over the next 8:13 as the Bears took a 63-50 lead.
Dartmouth (9-17, 2-11) got 3-pointers from Mike McLaren and Steve Callahan in a 10-2 run to pull within five, but Brown finished the game with an 18-10 run.
The Bears outscored the Big Green 46-22 in the paint and shot 59 percent from the field.
Brown jumped out to a 20-12 lead, but Dartmouth took a 38-37 lead with a minute to play in the first half after a 19-9 run that included four 3-pointers. Jaime Kilburn hit a layup to give the Bears a 39-38 lead at halftime.
With 21 points, Hunt, the Ivy League's leading scorer, surpassed the 1,500-point mark for his career.
Flinder Boyd, who played the final 13:12 of the game with four fouls, and McLaren, led the Big Green with 11 points each.
