Men's Basketball Rallies Past Columbia, 52-41

NEW YORK (AP) - Jason Forte scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half to rally Brown to a 52-41 Ivy League victory Friday night over Columbia.
Brown (14-7, 5-3) fell behind late in the first half and trailed 28-24 early in the second.
Patrick Powers broke a 32-32 tie with his only basket of the game before Forte hit a layup and followed with a 3-pointer to boost the Bruins to a 39-32 lead with 8:39 to play.
Columbia (10-13, 3-6) never got closer than five thereafter as Forte scored six of the Bears' final 11 points.
Earl Hunt led the Bears with 23 points, and Alai Nuualiitia had a game-high 12 rebounds. Craig Austin paced the Lions with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Columbia has lost four of five and three straight at home after opening 13-1 there.
Brown built a 23-15 lead before the Lions closed the first half with a 11-1 run to lead 26-24 at the break as Austin had 16 of his points.
The Bears assured themselves of back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in 27 years.
