Providence, R.I. - Brown freshman guard Desmond Cambridge (Nashville, TN) was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after posting career highs in points, rebounds and blocked shots in Brown games against Stony Brook, LIU Brooklyn and Bryant.
Cambridge opened the week with a then career high 17 points at Stony Brook, while also blocking a career best three shots and adding two steals against the Seawolves.
In Brown's win over LIU Brooklyn, Cambridge netted nine points and pulled down a career high nine rebounds with three assists and two steals.
He finished the week with a new career high 18 points in Brown's win over Bryant, connecting on 7-of-11 field goals, including 2-of-4 treys, while blocking three more shots and pulling down four rebounds.
The Bears are back in action again on Tuesday, November 28, traveling to Kingston, RI to battle URI in a 7:00 pm game at the Ryan Center.
