Brown Basketball Radio Show Returns To Spat’s Restaurant On Wednesday

Providence, RI - With just three weeks remaining in the regular season, Brown head men's basketball coach Mike Martin will move his weekly radio show to Spat's Restaurant, located at 182 Angell Street in Providence, adjacent to the Brown campus, starting this Wednesday, February 19. The Martin Show is aired live every Wednesday throughout the season on WPRV AM-790 from 6 pm to 7 pm.

 

The Bears have won seven of their last 10 games and are just two games out of first place in the Ivy League standings with six games remaining.  Brown has posted a 13-9 overall record, 5-3 in the Ivy League, good for third place in the league standings.

 

Brown fans are encouraged to attend the weekly show, with Martin and selected Brown players joining host Scott Cordischi, the voice of Brown Athletics, at Spats on the next three Wednesday's - February 19, February 26 and March 5.

 

The hour-long show recaps the previous week's play, previews upcoming games, and features interviews with members of the Bears' basketball program. The show is aired live on WPRV AM-790 and also streamed live on brownbears.com.
