Brown Basketball Recruiting Class of 2013
Brown head basketball coach Jesse Agel and his coaching staff
are excited about their first recruiting class of four outstanding
student-athletes, who will join the Brown basketball program in the
fall of 2009. Brown's Class of 2013 includes: forward Tucker
Halpern (Brookline, MA), forward Andrew McCarthy (Sudbury, MA),
forward Tyler Ponticelli (Northbrook, IL) and guard Matt Sullivan
(Wilmette, IL).
"I'm thrilled with the initial recruiting class our staff has
brought to Brown," said Agel. "We've been able to bring in four
outstanding young men, who will bring versatility and ability to
our program. I look for each one to contribute to our success next
season."

Game...Also played in the Hoop Mountain Greater Boston All-Star
Game...Scored over 1,500 points in his schoolboy career...Four-time

injury after averaging over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game as a

of 89-22 at Glenbrook with two State Elite Eight finishes and four
Central Suburban League North Conference Championships...Shot
58-percent from the field, 46-percent from behind the three-point
arc and 70-percent from the free throw line his junior year.

rebounds and 3 assists per game as a senior at Loyola Academy,
while shooting 47-percent from the field and 80-percent from the
free throw line...Chicago Catholic League First Team All-Conference

All-Area selection...Scored over 1,000 career points and grabbed
over 400 career rebounds at Loyola Academy...Named to
All-Tournament Team at the Wheeling Christmas Tournament, and named
MVP of the Mundelein Thanksgiving Tournament...Selected to the
