The Brown baseball team dropped a pair of games to Cleveland State and George Mason on Friday, March 16, in a pair of games from Fairfax, Virginia.
In the first game of the doubleheader, Brown fell to Cleveland State by a 4-2 score. Brown managed just two runs on seven hits against the Rams.
In the second game, the Patriots downed Brown 11-0, as the Bears scattered just four singles, while committing four errors in the field. Senior Frank Philbrick took the loss for Brown.
The Bears, now 1-4 overall on the season, will take on the Rams and Patriots once again on Saturday.
