Baseball Postponed Due to Darkness

The Brown University Baseball team will have to finish their second game of the season tomorrow with Tennessee tech after the game was called in the top of the fifth due to darkness. The Bears were trailing 6-2.
Junior Matt Kutler (Omaha, NE) walked twice and recorded a steal and then a run once on base. Sophomore Jeff Nichols (Medford, NJ) was 1-2 with a double. Sophomore Eli Friedman (Pittsburgh, PA) pitched two plus innings for the Bears and was relieved by junior Jason Priede (Tampa, FL). Priede recorded four strike outs in the two innings he pitched.
Brown (0-1) will continue this game tomorrow morning with Tennessee Tech, followed by a second game with Tennessee Tech starting at 11:00 a.m. The Bears will then take on Binghamton at 2:00 p.m.
