The 2004 Brown University Baseball team has recruited six early decision incoming freshmen for next year's season. Twin brothers Clint and Robert Dykehouse (Gainesville, FL) out of Oak Hill High School, will both join the squad. Clint is a 6-1, 185 pound right-handed pitcher who has thrown as high as 91 mph. He is a four pitch pitcher with tremendous talent on the mound.
Robert is also a 6-1, 185 pound right-handed pitcher. He can also play the catcher position but is coming to Brown as a pitcher. He is a great athlete with a pitcher's mentality and great command of the baseball.
Devin Thomas (Gainesville, FL), who is 5-11, 185 pounds has played catcher, first base, and third base. A graduate of Eastside High School, Thomas is a very good hitter with tremendous bat speed and can play any of the three positions.
Alexyz Milian (Orlando, FL) a 5-11, 185 pound catcher out of Oviedo High School will also be joining the 2004 squad. Milian has outstanding speed for a catcher. He is very good defensively and more than adequate offensively and only getting better.
Bryan Tews (Park Ridge, IL) is the fifth new addition to the 2004 squad. A graduate of Loyola Academy, Tews is a second baseman who was also the number one pitcher on his high school team. Tews is an excellent hitter with great power. He should be the double play combination of the future with Tyler Stephens.
Tyler Stephens (Lakeworth, FL) a graduate of Palm Beach Lake High School is the final recruit who has already decided to come to Brown. Stephens is an excellent defensive player, and is currently one of the top high school short stops in Southern Florida. He is a very good contact hitter with above average speed.
