2010: Put together one of the best power seasons in Brown history, belting 17 home runs to set a new single season record and lead the Ivy League … Voted to the First Team All-Ivy by the league’s coaches … Finished the season with 32 career homers, tying the Brown record with a full season to play … Also led the Ivy League with 54 RBI’s, and a .647 slugging percentage … Added nine doubles for 110 total bases, tops among Brown players … Scored a team-high 43 runs, third in the league … Also batted an impressive .294, combining contact and power … Defensively, appeared at first, third, and in left field, providing a combined .943 fielding percentage while filling in where needed.
2009: Had a breakout season, starting 33 games and playing in 40, primarily as the team’s designated hitter … Finished third on the team with a .339 batting average, the best among non-seniors … Showed off impressive power, tying for the team lead with 11 home runs, and adding three doubles and a triple … With 15 of his 38 hits going for extra bases, led the team with a .679 slugging percentage, and was fourth with a .437 on base percentage … Played well during his time in the field, making just one error and recording a .987 fielding percentage.
2008: Played in 23 games, starting 11 of them … Recorded 14 hits in 48 at bats for a .292 batting average … Half of his hits were for extra bases, as he knocked three doubles and four home runs, for a team-high .604 slugging percentage … Scored 10 runs and picked up 15 RBI’s … Also performed well in the field, notching 63 put outs and three assists against only one error.
