2010: Made a very successful switch to the outfield after an injury prevented him from pitching … Led the team with a .361 batting average while starting 42 games and playing in 43 … Earned First Team All-Ivy honors in his first season in the field … Fourth on the squad in doubles with nine, while adding two triples and four home runs, good for a .523 slugging percentage … Provided a terrific spark while often hitting in the lower half of the order, finishing with 33 runs scored and 27 RBI’s … Drew 14 walks to push his on base percentage to .410 overall … Also adjusted well to the defensive duties in right field, making just four errors and contributing two outfield assists.
