Brown Baseball Camps

The Elite Academic Baseball Camp features the Brown Baseball Staff and coaches from colleges around the country. The camp pro-vides superior instruction in all phases of the game and provides an opportunity for campers to be evaluated by many DI, DII, and DIII baseball programs. The camp is a “ must-see” event for coaches from many of the top academic universities in the Northeast!

Staff in the last 2 years has included:

Yale University, Columbia University, Holy Cross, Bryant University, University of Rhode Island, University of New Haven, Tufts University, Swarthmore College, MIT, Vassar College, and Amherst College. Coaches from many other schools also attend to evaluate!

The Elite Academic Baseball Camp will be an intense, energetic camp designed to improve campers ability and showcase their talents to the coaches in attendance. Each camper will participate in position specific drills, team practices, fundamental skill sessions, showcase drills, and game play. Campers will receive additional instruction on strength & conditioning and speed work. Each camper will play at least four games during the camp.

Facility - Campers will utilize all of Brown’s 57 acres of athletic facilities. Murray Stadium, Brown’s on-campus baseball field, will serve as the primary camp site. Campers will also use indoor facilities, turf fields, and weight rooms.

Living Arrangements - Resident campers will be housed in Andrews Hall, a short walk from the baseball field. Andrews Hall was recently remodeled and includes semi-private bathrooms. All campers will be housed in double rooms with a roommate. Please indicate all roommate requests on the application form. Camp counselors will be housed in the same facility, providing constant supervision. 

Meals - Three meals will be served daily to resident campers including several in Brown’s Dining Halls. Commuting campers will receive lunch each camp day and can purchase additional meals upon request.
