Brown Versus Marist Doubleheader Postponed Until Wednesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown baseball's home finale will have to wait another day as predicted rain in the Providence area has postponed the Bears' doubleheader showdown with Marist, 24 hours. Bruno and the Red Foxes will now square off on Wednesday, May 1, at 2 p.m.

Marist and Brown were originally scheduled to close out the Bears 2012 home slate at Murray Stadium tomorrow afternoon, but with consistent rain expected throughout the afternoon in Northern Rhode Island, University officials have agreed to push back the series one day later.

The Bears are 5-11 at home this season, while the Red Foxes are 9-14 on the road and 18-21 overall. Brown will look to end the season on a high note after completing its Ivy League schedule on Saturday at Yale.
