In the end it was the Green Wave who came out on top as they plated two runs of their own in the bottom of the frame to take a 8-7 victory.

Junior starter Heath Mayo (Whitehouse, Texas) went 5.2 innings, allowing just one run five-plus innings before Tulane was able to get to the right-hander in the bottom of the sixth, plating five runs.
