Brown Track and Field Earn 4th and 6th at Armory Collegiate

For the men, senior Enda Johnson placed 1st in the 1 Mile Run, recording a time of 4:07.32. Chad Buechel came in 5th in that race, posting a time of 4:09.60. In the pole vault, Brad Bowery captured 2nd , measuring 5.10m, and Aaron Salinger placed 4th in that event, measuring 4.55m. Sean Thomas came in 4th in the triple jump (14.35m). In the team events, Brown captured 1st place in the Distance Medley, recording a time of 9:45.56.

On the women's side, Lauren Contursi placed 1st in the pole vault, measuring 3.75, while Juli Penner placed 3rd (3.45m). In the 3,000M, Jenna Richardson placed 4th, with a time 10:09.56. In the 800 Meter Run, Mary Hale placed 5th, posting a time of 2:12.03. In the team events, Brown placed 3rd in the Distance Medley, posting a time of 11:58.93. In the 4X400 Relay the Bears finished 7th (3:55.86).

The Bears return to action February 15 to compete in the USATF-NE Championships in Boston, MA.
