Brown Swimmers Defeat Crimson

Providence, RI - The Brown women's swim team notched their first win of the season as they defeated the Crimson of Harvard, 189-106. Brown took both the 200 Medley relay and the 400 Freestyle relay. Bear freshman Elizabeth Daniels claimed the 50 Freestyle with a time of 23:87 and then went on to win the 100 Free with a time of 51:89. Brown junior Judy Koonstra won both the 100 and 200 Butterfly events with times of 57:03 and 2:02.70. Harvard freshman Brittany Garza took both the 1 meter and 3 meter diving events. The Bears travel to Dartmouth Saturday afternoon at 4:00 to take on the Big Green.
