Women's Swimming and Diving Defeated Penn 155-78 in Ivy League Competition.

The women's swimming and diving team improved to 3-2 on the season with a 155-78 victory over Penn on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears won all 10 swimming events and both diving events to claim the victory and also had six 1-2-3 finishes, including the 200 free (Dawn Chuck, 1:52.56, Suzanne Drodge, 1:55.31, Toni Pullman, 1:57.22), the 50 free (Liz Daniels, :23.75, Inbal Hasbani, :24.41, Emily McCoy, :24.75), the 100 free (Chuck, :51.99, Laura Mosca, :53.45, Pullman, :54.45), the 200 back (Lindsay Hoban, 2:07.25, Sarah Squire, 2:10.40, Jessica Brown, 2:13.24), the 200 breast (Alexis Skoda, 2:21.87, Meghan Purvis, 2:24.08, Kelsey Hiatt, 2:25.31), and the 400 free relay.

Other top-three finishes for the Bears included a 1-2 finish in the 400 medley relay, as well as the 1650 free, which was won by Jean Lee (10:26.97) with Rachael Dillon taking second (10:41.42). Tinka Dancevic won the 200 fly (2:08.04), while Lee took second (2:08.76). The 500 free was won by Drodge (5:05.13), with Dillon taking second place (5:19.30).

In diving action, Kristin Duffy won both the 1 meter (262.2), which is an NCAA Zone Championship Qualifying score, and the 3 meter (265.28), while Sarah Pedersen took third in both events with a 226.65 on the 1M and a 210.3 on the 3M.

The Bears continue action on Saturday, February 2, when they compete at Cornell with Columbia in a 12:00 noon meet.
