MT CRANMORE, NH/LOON MOUNTAIN, NH - The Brown women's ski team won its second carnival of the season, posting a first place finish in the Slalom at the UConn Carnival, held at Mt. Cranmore, one day after finishing in fourth place in the Giant Slalom at the MIT Carnival, held at Loon Mountain. With the win on Sunday, the Bears are in third place in the Macconnell Division with 19 points, just six points out of first and four points out of second.
Junior Kelly O'Hear (Niagara Falls, NY) led Brown, taking second in the Giant Slalom on Saturday with a time of 1:51.04, before winning the Slalom on Sunday with a time of 1:16.65, a full second ahead of the second-place skier, which is unheard of in the competitive Macconell Division.

On Sunday, the Bears rebounded with three other skiers, in addition to O'Hear, placing in the top-15.
