Cavett is one of Brown's strongest, most consistent performers on the uneven bars. She earned the ECAC Coaches' Choice Award in 2004 for her consistency. Sarah has often been Brown's top scorer on the event throughout the past two seasons. She was named ECAC Rookie of the Week in 2003 and "Most Consistent" by her teammates in 2004. She was also named ECAC Academic Scholar in 2004. Cavet qualified for USGA Nationals in uneven bars and was also awarded with the USAG Scholar Award in 2005. She finished in sixth place at the ECAC meet, recieveing a 9.7 mark. Before Brown: Cavett's experience includes being a ten-time state qualifier for Tennessee/Georgia, a three-time AAU National Qualifier, and a six-time Regional Qualifier ... AAU National bar champion in 2000 and 2001.
