ECAC Division I Women's Gymnastics Weekly Awards

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior Rebecca Freedman (Plainview, N.Y.) was named Specialist of the Week and freshman Caroline Morant (Chicago, Ill.) received her third Rookie of the Week award of the season on Tuesday as the duo continued the Brown gymnastic team's monopoly of the Corvias ECAC Division I Women's Gymnastics weekly awards.

Morant was solid on all four events for the Bears again this week in competition. She earned a personal best 38.700 in the all-around, posting the top score for Brown in the all-around, on beam and on floor. She finished second place in the all-around at UNH by only .075, helping the Bears to a 191.6. Her all-around was the top score of all ECAC freshmen this week.

Freedman earned the second-highest score of her career, posting a 9.75 on the vault. Her performance led the Bears to a 191.6, defeating Centenary and finishing second to UNH on Sunday.
