Providence, RI- Brown University gymnast Katie Goddard '12 has recently been named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America Women's At-Large first team.
Goddard, a Public Policy & American Institutions & Education Studies concentrator with a 4.0 GPA, was named the ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year and was an Academic All-Ivy honoree.
A vault and floor specialist for the Bears, Goddard was a four-time NACGC/W All-Academic selection and a four-time ECAC All-Academic team honoree. She was also a four-time USAG Collegiate National Scholar Athlete, a two-time USAG National Qualifier, and was a two-time team captain (2011 & 2012).
Goddard was the recipient of the team's Most Consistent Award in 2010 & 2012, and earned the team's Most Improved Award in 2009. She earned First Team All-Ivy Classic honors in 2009, and earned Brown's Bessie H. Rudd award in 2010, given to the female student-athlete who does the most to promote women's sports at Brown.
