Women's Golf Team 7th at JMU Invitational

Brown's women's golf team placed 7th out of 17 teams at the James Madison University Lady Dukes Invitational in Harrisonville, VA. The Bears shot 318-335 - 653 in the two-day event.

Junior Tara Fiscella (Newtown, CT) led the Bears and placed 12th individually (91 total players) with a two-day 156, shooting 76 in torrential rains on Saturday, and 80 on Sunday. Sophomore Elizabeth Carpenter (Plantation, FL) was also a top 20 finisher for the Bears, placing 18th overall after shooting 79-83-162.

Freshman Jennifer Bley (Ft. Worth, TX) continued her strong season by finishing 30th individually, shooting a two-day 165 (80-85). Senior Rebekah Alfond (Portland, OR) shot 85-87, and freshman Amy Behrman (Houston, TX) shot 83-89 and were both tied for 63rd overall, carding a two-day 172.
