Men's Golfers 9th At Yale Spring Invitational

Competitors braved cold and windy conditions at the Yale Spring Opener as the Brown men's golf team finished ninth overall in the 24-team tournament, shooting a two-day 642 (327, 315) at the Yale Golf Course.
Senior captain Ed Yoon (East Greenwich, RI) led the Bears with a two-day 158 (79, 79) to place 27th overall. Sophomore Jason Ricketts (Highland Village, TX) and freshman Danny Wallis (Los Gatos, CA) also played well in the tournament, shooting a two-day 160, with Ricketts carding 85, 75, and Wallis shooting 80, 80, to place 36th overall in the 118 man field.
Junior Kevin Buchert (Short Hills, NJ) finished 52nd overall, shooting 164 (83, 81), while junior Matt Koenigsdorf (Kansas City, MO) was 89th, with a two-day 173 (85, 88).
The Bears will be back in action at the District I Championship next weekend, March 13-14, at the Triggs Memorial Golf Course in Providence, Rhode Island.
