Brown Fencing Goes 12-1 at NFC No. 2
The Brown fencing team had one of the most impressive performances of any squad at the Northeast Fencing Conference meet number two, as the Bears went a combined 12-1, with the men posting an undefeated 6-0 mark. Bruno was victorious over Boston College, Dartmouth, Tufts, Brandeis, MIT and Vassar. The women’s squad went 6-1. The Brown men are 9-1 overall on the season, while the women are 6-1.

Brown Fencing Looks To Improve on Last Year’s NCAA Run
After a promising fall season, the Brown fencing team has its sights set on the upcoming winter schedule and a return trip to the NCAA Championship. Last year, the Bears had one of the best seasons in program history, sending five competitors to the NCAA’s (all underclassman) and posted a 13th-place finish. Now, with all five fencers returning, Brown looks to put its stamp on collegiate fencing.

Brown Fencing Picks up Seven Wins at Brandeis Invitational
The Brown men’s & women’s fencing teams were in action for the third time this season and the final time in 2011 on Sunday, taking part in the Brandeis Invitational. The Bears were victorious over Brandeis, Boston College and MIT on the men’s side, while the women went 4-1 in team competition, topping Brandies, BC, MIT and North Carolina.
