Sunbury, OH - The Bears are coming back from Nationals this weekend with all three of their riders placing in the top twenty of the county's best riders. Junior Jamie Peddy, sophomore Grace Peloquin and freshman Whitney Keefe represented Brown at the National Championship in Sunbury, OH.
Jamie Peddy had a strong ride in the Cacchione Cup flat event, finishing with 90 points for a first place finish. Peddy later competed in the fences portion of the competition drawing a tough ride finishing the event with 72 points, putting her in seventh place overall after the first two days. In the final day Peddy and six other riders were called back to compete one last time. After her final ride Peddy moved up three places and finished in fourth place.
Whitney Keefe opened up the competition for the Bears competing in individual open fences. Keefe had a strong ride recovering from an early mistake finishing up in eleventh place. Also competing in open fences was Grace Peloquin. Peloquin finished up in fourteenth place for Brown.
