Anna Seto Leads Equestrian at Zone 1 Finals

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Senior Anna Seto won her class in intermediate flat and came in second in intermediate fences to lead Brown University equestrian at the Zone 1 Finals on Saturday at Mt. Holyoke College.

With her pair of top-two finishes, Seto (Barrington, R.I.) punched her ticket to the IHSA National Championships for the second straight year. Sophomore Dominique Carlo (Dorado, Puerto Rico) finished second in walk-trot, also earning a spot in the national championships.

Senior captain Sara Nordstrom (Medina, Wash.) placed third in open fences while senior Caroline Marks (Seattle, Wash.) took fifth in intermediate fences.

Senior Madison Kuhn (Lancaster, Pa.) finished fourth in novice fences and fifth in novice flat, and senior Sara Sellers (Washington, D.C.) registered a fifth-place finish in walk-trot-canter.

Next, Brown will compete at the IHSA National Championships at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa., from May 3-6.
