Brown Equestrian Places Third at Zones

In the individual intermediate fences, Rebecca McGoldrick had a nice round on Reed but pinned fifth. In the team intermediate fences, Allison Dungey pinned second with a nice ride, also on Reed. Dungey also placed fourth as an individual in the novice fences.

The team novice fences proved to be a very tough class. Cara Rosenbaum had a very strong start and despite tough ride in the middles, finished the course and pinned fourth for three team points.
Team intermediate flat rider Lauren Hogan pinned second on Davon. Brown also had two riders in individual novice flat. Ellie Sharpe and Rosenbaum both competed and Sharpe came away with a third-place finish.

In the team walk trot canter, Katie Gouinlock pinned second while in the individual walk trot, Karolina Woroniecka also came in second in a very competitive class to qualify for Nationals. She will be joined by a rider from Holyoke.
