Borowski Earns Second Ivy League Pitcher of the Week Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball's Macy Borowski was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced on Monday (March 30).
In four appearances last week, Borowski posted a 1.75 ERA and 3-1 record, including two wins over Yale in league play.
The junior threw 24 innings, with all three wins being complete game victories. Borowski finished the weekend with 26 strikeouts, allowing just 18 hits (.200 opposing batting average). In her first win of the week, Borowski gave up one run and struck out nine against Rhode Island.
Borowski struck out seven on three hits, giving up just one run in the series opener against Yale. In game two of the series, Borowski threw another complete game, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out nine.
