      <title>Sam Ford, Rob Schlesinger and Roger Ferguson Named To All-New England Lacrosse Team</title>

      <description>Brown junior Sam Ford (Reisterstown, MD), senior co-captain Rob Schlesinger (Medford, MA) and junior Roger Ferguson (Washington, DC) were named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association&#x2019;s (NEILA) 2012 All-New England Men&#x2019;s Lacrosse Team.  Ford earned first team All-New England honors, while Schlesinger and Ferguson garnered second team All-New England accolades. In addition, senior Dan O&#x2019;Brien (Kensington, MD) and senior co-captain Parker Brown (San Francisco, CA) were named NEILA 2012 Senior Scholar-Athletes.</description>

      <title>Brown Women&#x2019;s Crew Selected to NCAA Rowing Championship; Bears Look to Defend Their National Title</title>

      <description>The defending national champs will have a chance to defend its title as the NCAA announced on Tuesday evening that the Brown women&#x2019;s crew has been selected to compete at the 2012 Division I Rowing Championship on May 25-27, on Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J.  Head coach John Murphy has led the Bears to an appearance in every NCAA tournament since its inception, 16 years ago.</description>

      <title>Brown Varsity Eight Victorious at EARC Sprints; Claims Ivy League Title</title>

      <description>The Brown men&#x2019;s crew pulled off a fantastic upset on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday afternoon, downing the highly-touted favorite, Harvard, in the varsity eight race by just over thee-tenths of a second to come away victorious at the 67th annual Eastern Associate of Rowing College (EARC) Sprints. With the victory, the Bears claimed the Marc Bergschneider Ivy League Championship Trophy, snapping Harvard&#x2019;s two-year reign at the top of the conference.</description>

      <description>The Brown women&#x2019;s crew team racked up two silver medals at the inaugural Ivy League Championship on the Cooper River, earning second overall in both the third varsity eight and the second varsity eight races. The Bears boasted the top time of any varsity eight in the prelims, but finished fifth overall in the grand finale. Radcliffe took the Ivy title, winning V8 race, while Princeton earned the point trophy.</description>

Bruno has won eight Ivy Championships, with their first coming in 1988.</description>
