PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Baseball senior outfielder Rob Henry and women’s lacrosse freshman attack Emma DeGennaro have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Apr. 17-23, Brown announced on Monday.

Senior outfielder Rob Henry put together a standout week for the Bears, leading the team in average (.524), runs (7), hits (11), triples (2), steals (4), slugging (.762), and on-base percentage (.607) in six games. He batted .625 in a four-game series against Harvard, posting three multiple-hit games with a four-hit performance in the opener and three hits in a 7-3 win. The Cranston, R.I., native is ranked third in the Ivies with a.433 batting average in conference games this season.
Emma DeGennaro, Women’s Lacrosse, Freshman, Huntington, N.Y.
Freshman attack Emma DeGennaro scored Brown's overtime game winner against Columbia on Saturday in a 14-13 Ivy League victory. The Huntington, N.Y., native recorded a career-high output and led the Bears in scoring against the Lions with five points on three goals and two assists. As time was winding down in regulation, DeGennaro caused a turnover on Columbia's final possession to send the game to overtime. The rookie also tallied two goals in a non-conferee win against UMass Lowell on Wednesday.
