Brown senior All-Ivy guard
Sean McGonagill (Brookfield, IL) averaged 22.0
points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, while playing 79 minutes in
the two games. He was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week
for his efforts.
McGonagill scored 14 of his game-high 21 points on the second half in Brown’s narrow loss at Providence. With the Bears trailing by five points, he connected on a long three-point basket with nine seconds remaining, stole the in-bounds pass and came up just short in his step-back trey. McGonagill came back to score 14 of his team-high 23 points in the second half to lead the Bears to a win over Sacred Heart. He stole the show in that game with a career-high five steals.
