Junior Tommy Glenn (Haddonfield, NJ) earned first place honors in six of the eight events that he swam over the course of Brown's opening weekend of competition.
In the Bears' 162-138 win over the Boston University Terriers, Glenn was four-for-four on the night. He took first place in the 200 fly (1:49.27), 100 free (46.02) and 100 fly (49.19) and joined with teammates Jeffrey Strausser, Matt Luminais and Edward Zhao to capture the 200 freestyle relay (1:23.97).
In the first official competition held at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center, Glenn grabbed two more first-place finishes in Brown's 172-126 victory over the UMASS Minutemen. He took top honors in the 200 free (1:40.34) and swam on the winning 400 medley relay. He also competed in the 500 freestyle, finishing second, and the 200 freestyle relay.
This weekend was the first time that the men's team won their first two meets of the season since the 2005-2006 campaign.
