Senior guard Matt Sullivan (Wilmette, IL) helped the Bears to wins over Niagara and Daniel Webster last week. He scored 20 points in Brown's thrilling overtime win over Niagara, sending the game into overtime with a late trey. Sullivan also pulled down a career high eight rebounds and played the game's entire 45 minutes. He came back with 18 points and six rebounds against Daniel Webster. Sullivan is the Ivy League's third leading scorer with 15.0 ppg, while his 141 career treys rank ninth all-time at Brown. The economics concentrator is also a CoSIDA Academic All-American.
The Bears will open their Ivy League season this weekend, welcoming the Yale Bulldogs to the Pizzitola Sports Center for a 7:00pm contest on Saturday, January 19.
