Over 275 student-athletes, coaches, staff and distinguished guests were in attendance at the banquet to celebrate another year of success in competition, in the classroom and in the community. President Christina Paxson and Director of Athletics Jack Hayes each took the opportunity to address the room and acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions of the class of 2013.</description>

On the men&#x2019;s side, senior men&#x2019;s lacrosse player Clay Del Prince (Hamburg, NY) and senior fencer Kelly McGuire (Park City, UT) earned First Team honors, while junior gymnast Michelle Shnayder (Lincolnshire, IL) was a First Team honoree on the Women&#x2019;s At-Large team. All three will now advance to the Academic All-America national ballot.</description>

      <description>At the end of April, Caroline King &#x2019;13, a forward on the women&#x2019;s basketball team, will travel to western Nepal to continue her work with Nyaya Health, an organization focused on providing medical care in the area. King is also the founder of Hoops for Hope, a program that has partnered with the Providence chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise around $2,000 and is based partly on the men&#x2019;s ice hockey program Goals for Good. King has also volunteered at two local elementary schools, one of which is the Vartan Gregorian Elementary school at Fox Point.</description>
