2017 Spring Academic All-Ivy Selections Announced

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University had 10 student-athletes garner Spring Academic All-Ivy accolades in an announcement made by the Ivy League on Tuesday.  The five men and five women were key contributors to their respective winter teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.

MEN
Mark Buda | Track & Field | Senior | Pittsburgh, Pa. | Environmental Science
- Second Team All-Ivy in javelin ... NCAA East Region Qualifier.

Sam Grigo | Baseball | Junior | Westbrook, Conn. | Economics
- Honorable Mention All-Ivy ... CoSIDA Academic All-District and Second Team All-American ... Started all 37 games  … Recorded a team-high 47 hits.

Finn Meeks | Crew | Senior | Lake Forest, Ill. | Economics
- Team Captain ... Stroked the varsity boat that finished sixth in the grand finals at the IRA National Championship.

Dylan Molloy | Lacrosse | Senior | Setauket, N.Y. | Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations
- CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American ... Second Team All-American ... First Team All-Ivy and All-New England ... Nation's third leading scorer ... USILA/Nike Scholar All-American.

Marc Sredojevic | Baseball | Senior | Mendham, N.J. | Economics
- First Team All-Ivy …  CoSIDA Academic All-District … Went entire season without an error … Led the Bears with a .339 overall batting average.


WOMEN
Sienna Chapman | Golf | Junior | Racine, Wis. | Social Analysis and Research
- Second Team All-Ivy … Placed eighth at the Ivy League Championship.

Shanelle DeJournett | Track & Field | Senior | Knoxville, Tenn. | English
- Honorable Mention All-American ... NCAA National Qualifier in the high jump … Fourth in high jump at Ivy Heptagonal Championship.

Marisa Kolokotronis | Water Polo | Senior | Sacramento, Calif. | Urban Studies
- Honorable Mention ACWPC All-American ... Second Team All-CWPA … First Team All-CWPA Tournament … Led the team in goals (69), points (97), and steals (77).

Annie McGregor | Softball | Junior | Carlsbad, Calif. | Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations
- First Team All-Ivy ... Third Team NFCA All-Northeast Region … Started all 45 game … Led the team in home runs, RBIs, hits (49), doubles (10), triples (three), batting average (.348), and slugging percentage (.652).

Ruby Moore-Bloom | Crew | Senior | Berkeley, Calif. | Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies
- CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-American ... CoSIDA Academic All-District … Won an Ivy League title with the second varsity eight … Placed fifth with the second varsity eight at the NCAA Championships.
