Tricia Wurtz becomes just the second Brown women's basketball player to be inducted into the Brown Hall of Fame as she joins teammate Sara Deidrick. A force on the boards, Wurtz is the all-time leading rebounder for Brown with 916 career caroms and a 10.7 career rebounding average. A member of the elite 1,000 point club, she was the first member of the women's basketball team to reach the 1,000 point plateau. In four years, she tallied a career total of 1036 points. Her name still dots the record book in several categories including rebounds in a season (263) and most points in an individual game (37). She still ranks among Brown's best with 435 field goals and field goal percentage with .454. Wurtz earned first-team All-Ivy honors as a junior, was a member of the second team as a freshman and received honorable mention as a sophomore and senior. Trish works as an ecologist for the National Forest Service and lives in Fairbanks, Alaska with her husband Knute Kielland.
