Colleen O’Day played on four consecutive Ivy League championship teams. Coach Phil Pincince considers Colleen one of the most outstanding players that he has coached. The Brown team was 10-4 and finished 6th nationally in her freshman year, and Colleen was selected first team All-Ivy.

Sophomore year the team was 7th in the nation, and in addition to being selected first team All-Ivy she was selected All-American. Junior year saw Colleen and her team 13-1-1 and seeded #1 in the NCAA Championships. As usual Colleen was named first team All-Ivy. And the team finished up as #2 in the rankings. (This 1984 team had only 3 goals scored upon it!) Senior year brought more honors – another championship, first team All-Ivy, All-American and NCAA Championship Tournament. Colleen was also chosen the tournaments MVP. Presently Colleen is associate director of the press office of Common Cause in Washington, DC, and resides in Arlington, VA.
