Darren Muller was a defensive star of Cliff Stevenson’s teams in the mid-80s. In 1984, 1985 and 1986 he was voted the Most Valuable Defensive Player and in 1986 he was also voted the team’s MVP.
Darren was voted First Team All-Ivy in 1985 and again in 1986, after being selected Second Team in 1984. All three years he was an All-American, honorable mention as a sophomore and second team as a junior and senior.
As a junior Darren was selected Ivy Player of the Year. As a senior he and teammate Tom Gagnon were selected and played in the North-South Game. Following graduation from Brown, Darren went on to play professionally with the New York Saints from 1987-91.
A foreign exchange trader for the Societe General Bank in New York, Darren lives in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife, Kecia, and son, nine-month-old Benjamin.
